Terms of Use
Please read these terms carefully before using the Cyrace app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Cyrace ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. The App is developed and published by ZD Solutions ("we", "us", "our").
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This license does not allow you to distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App.
3. Description of Service
Cyrace is a race course simulation app for iOS that communicates with Bluetooth smart trainers and controllers to provide indoor cycling training features, including:
- ERG mode for fixed-power training
- Simulation mode with real GPX route gradients
- Virtual gearing system
- Zwift Ride controller integration
The App operates entirely offline and does not require an internet connection.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App is safe and appropriate. Specifically:
- Always follow the safety guidelines provided by your smart trainer manufacturer.
- Ensure your trainer is properly set up and maintained before use.
- Consult a medical professional before beginning any training programme, particularly if you have health concerns.
- Do not use the App while operating a vehicle or in any situation where distraction could be dangerous.
5. Bluetooth Devices
The App communicates with third-party Bluetooth devices (smart trainers, controllers, heart rate monitors). We are not responsible for the behaviour, performance, or safety of third-party hardware. Compatibility and functionality may vary between devices and firmware versions.
6. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ZD Solutions and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "Cyrace" is a trademark of ZD Solutions.
References to third-party products (such as Zwift Ride, Wahoo Kickr, or Tacx Neo) are for compatibility information only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
7. No Warranty
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices or trainers.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZD Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, data loss, or loss of profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or any connected Bluetooth device.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
